Tightening of control over statistical information

Tightening of control over statistical information

Companies taking part in foreign trade operations with the countries – members of Eurasian Economic Union (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Belarus) should take into account that the control of statistical reports on foreign trade with these countries will be performed by Customs Service since January 1st.

In 2017 fines for non-submitting reports or late submitting have become lower, but the probability of getting penalized has increased, since there will be no difficulty for Customs Service to identify the case of export/import.

As previously, companies should send reports not later the 8th working day of month, following the month of shipment or accepting goods.

Fines for failure to submit reports on time are as follows:

For legal entities:

First violation of rules – from 20 to 50 krub

Repeated violation - from 50 to 100 krub

For individuals:

First violation of rules - from 10 to 15 krub

Repeated violation - from 20 to 30 krub
