IT-system of the Central Bank will be modernized

The Central Bank has presented a strategy for the development of its IT system until 2020, whereby dramatic changes will be made.

The strategy is in place for the next three years. The main objective of the reform is to make it possible to be receptive to any changes in the technological environment while keeping the system stable and reliable.

There will be four main directions of the transformation: creating a centralized IT landscape for previously separated platforms, creating an effective data management system (including Big Data), optimizing the infrastructure and embedding cyber security tools.

The core of the system will be a unified communication service, including electronic document management, private accounts and an external site.

It is expected that the modernization of the Central Bank IT system will significantly reduce the time of interaction with the regulator.
