Significant changes in the use of cash machines

A law project optimizing the use of cash machines has been approved in first reading.

The next step will be introducing new fines in this area.

The law clarifies a number of concepts and peculiarities related to the usage of cash machines, e.g. usage of cash machines for peddling trade, transportation services using turnstiles, vending machines sales, etc.

Also, the law is supplemented by new concepts: for example, "beneficial owner" and "beneficiary".

As for the penalties, the following fines are currently under consideration:

1. For issuing a cash slip on a fictitious transaction

               • for officials - up to 10 KRUB;

               • for legal entities - up to 40 KRUB

2. For a repeated sale of goods for 1 mln rubles or more, without issue of a check

               • from 800 thousand to 1 million rubles, or suspension of activities.

3. For violation of the procedure of de-registration of cash machines

               • for officials - up to 3 KRUB;

               • for legal entities - up to 10 KRUB

4. For failure to submit fiscal data in due time

               • for officials - 50 KRUB;

               • for legal entities - 100 KRUB.
