Migration control criteria become more transparent

Migration control criteria become more transparent

From March 11, 2019 Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) starts using official lists while checking companies’ compliance with migration legislation. The lists are published on the official website of MIA, so the organizations can carry out self-checks.

For companies, which employ foreigners or stateless people, the list includes 10 questions, concerning:

· Employees’ status (HQS, EEU citizen) and their work permission;

· MIA notifications from the employer’s side;

· Company’s permission to hire foreign citizens.

Also, there is a separate check-list for the companies acting as a host or inviting party.
