Extension of the Blacklist of Offshores

The European Union created the Blacklist of Offshores in 2015. It includes countries, which insufficiently prevent money laundering and terrorism according to the EU. Operations with these countries are under more strict control.

The EU increased the blacklist in March by three times. Now it also includes:

· American Samoa

· Territory of Guam

· Independent State of Samoa

· Republic of Trinidad and Tobago

· Virgin Islands of the United States

· Aruba

· Barbados

· Belize

· Bermuda

· Republic of Fiji

· Republic of the Marshall Islands

· Oman

· United Arab Emirates

· Republic of Vanuatu

· Dominican Republic
