Banks to disclose reasons for refusal of service

In February of this year, the Central Bank issued new guidelines, which obliges banks to inform their clients about the reasons for the refusal to maintain or open an account.

Currently some banks still do not explain the grounds for refusal, although last year the Central Bank has already sent a letter with such a requirement.

In addition, banks must inform their clients about the anti-money laundering measures taken against them, so that the information received will help the client improve the situation.
