U.S. suspended exchange of tax information

The US Internal Revenue Service has suspended the exchange of financial information with the Russian Federal Tax Services.

The treaty on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion exists since 1992 between the two countries.

The U.S. is not suspending the agreement in its entirety, the restrictions apply only to the exchange of information.

The U.K. suspended the exchange of tax information on March 17 and Germany on April 1
