Banks will receive benefits for financing deals to buy out foreign companies

Russian banks will be able to finance on preferential terms until January 1, 2023, transactions to buy out assets of foreign companies which decided to leave Russia. The Central Bank has published a set of additional measures to support the financial sector.

The Central Bank will cease to apply increased risk ratios to credit requirements for banks to finance such transactions until 1 January 2023.
