Bellerage Quarterly 4/21: HR document flow become fully electronic
We inform you about amendments to the Labor code of the Russian Federation, effective November 22, 2021. Employers can now use electronic HR document flow.
But the following HR documents still have to remain in paper form:
- labor book (for those who has chosen paper format);
- act about an industrial accident in the prescribed form;
- order on dismissal of an employee;
- documents confirming that the employee has passed instructions on labor safety.
All other HR documents can be signed and stored electronically.
In order to use electronic HR document flow, the employer must issue a relevant act with describing regulations, terms and procedure of transfer to digital formats.
You can maintain electronic HR document flow via the state portal "Work in Russia" or in your own information system. For example, in “1C:Payroll and HR management” (1C: HRM), such a possibility exists in the personal profile of an employee. This service is available in web and mobile versions and allows you to see the pay slips, order certificates, send vacation requests, etc.
