Loans from foreign creditors may be forgiven without tax consequences

As a support measure for local companies, if loans from foreign creditors (e.g. the mother company) were forgiven, they are exempt from the profit tax.

Loans can be from legal entities or individuals.

This applies if the loan/credit agreement was concluded before March 1, 2022.
